Southern Cruisers Riding Club
Chapter # 138 of Lynchburg, Virginia lost a beautiful and valued member
on
May2, 2014. Katherine Ann Brown Cooke, 59, went to be with the lord on
May 02,
2014, with her family by her side. Kathy was born January 30, 1955 in
Syracuse,
New York, to Jean and Jim Brown, of Lynchburg, Virginia. Kathy is
survived by
her husband of 39 years Richard (Buzzy) Cooke, Jr. a long outstanding
Southern
Cruiser member here in the Hill City Chapter. Kathy and Buzzy have
brought so
many wonderful memories to our club, if you were a hill city member you
knew
Buzz & Kathy. She had a multitude of friends that loved her very
much.
Kathy’s SCRC number # 138007 has been retired and put on the National
SCRC wall for fallen members never to be released again. Not a day will
go by, and not a
meeting will be held when we won’t think about Kathy Cooke and what she
has done
for our club. Kathy will always be a SCRC member she will forever be in
our
hearts.
